This is HUGE for me. If you have trouble choosing a gift quickly, or maybe completely forgot about an upcoming event that you need a gift for, their 2-day shipping is a life saver. As long as it says “Prime” behind the price, you should have no issues receiving it within 2 days of ordering it.
How awesome is that? I don’t have to stop what I’m doing, load up myself in the car, head to the store to search for a gift that I have no idea of what I’m even looking for, wait in line to check out to then come home. I can literally skip all those steps and shop from the comfort of my home.

While there aren’t any new releases for free, their library of movies to choose from is strong. I’ve watched several movies and shows that were excellent, and were included for free, all because I am a Prime member.
I also love the fact that as long as I have internet and can log into my Amazon account, I can watch movies from anywhere, any device at any time. Very handy on long car rides where I’m the passenger or while waiting in the doctor’s office.

Their program, Amazon Smile, allows a percentage of each purchase you make to be donated directly to the charity that you choose. If you log in through the portal, it does it automatically for you every time.

Still in college? While you may be cutting corners eating ramon noodles to save money, Amazon also offers a special discount subscription for college students. Yep, you read it right! If you are currently in college, you can have a year of Amazon Prime for ONLY $49.

Love to read? Who doesn’t! Another great benefit of Amazon Prime is that you have access to free eBooks. There are quite a few free titles to choose from and quick and easy to download.
Going on a trip but don’t have the room to take bulky books? Load up your device with a few free eBooks and you are ready to go.
6. Holiday Shopping Rocks With Prime
As a Prime member, you get “special” access to certain deals and discounts before they go live to the remainder of the public and those who are not Prime holders. This can add up to great savings as well.
Cyber Monday is also another huge day for Amazon and they have a ton of items that have amazing prices with a limited number to be claimed.
7. Amazon Warehouse Deals
Yes, Amazon has a warehouse where items that have been returned go. Some items are perfectly fine, just have an opened box or no box and were returned. Others had issues and were refurbished but fixed and ready to hit the sales floor again.
There are quite a few items that they have in their warehouse at any point in time, and if you are in the market for a new TV, it may be a great place for you to check out.
Warranties typically won’t apply to items in the warehouse, or if they do, they are shortened, but if one needs to save money, it’s a great place to check out options that are available!
