Did you know there is one simple and fun way to actually make all your dreams come true. Create a vision board.

Do you set goals but lose hope when they fail to materialize?

Vision or Dream Boards work, for real, provided you take the necessary action steps to make them happen, of course.

Vision boards are powerful manifestation tools. When you create your very own vision board:

It’s like drawing up a contract between you and the Universe. As a result, all your senses open up and become receptive to the opportunities around you, which can help make your dreams come true. (Source)

Wait just a minute. Before you write it off as a trend, let’s look at what a vision board actually is.

Make A Powerful Vision Board

What is a Vision Board

A vision board is a graphic depiction of everything you want for your life. It is a powerful visual of all the goals you want to achieve. It’s a picture board of your dreams, your goals, the achievements you desire. It can and should include the types relationships you wish to surround yourself with.

Visualize and reflect daily on your vision board and you have your very own herald to the universe to make your goals a reality.

When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.

Paulo Coelho

Do Vision Boards Work?

Absolutely.

Heard of Steve Harvey. Lily Singh and Shay Mitchell? They’re all super successful celebrities who swear that their personal vision boards shaped their actions and led to their success.

There are two scriptures that changed my entire life. If you do these two things, it will change your life. If you apply it right now, it can change your existence.

The scripture says “you have not, because you ask not.” Do you have any idea how major those words are for you? Most people don’t have the life of your dreams because you haven’t asked God for it. You’ve been trying to figure life out and handle it yourself. Well, how is that working out for you?

You have to have a vision board! I don’t know nobody wealthy, who don’t have a vision board. Scripture says “write the vision and make it plain. So he who reads it will run to it, and even though it will tarry, wait for it. For surely it will come at an appointed time.”

2. Set SMART Goals

The route to success is not to merely list your goals as if they were items on a grocery list. Make your goals SMART by deciding on the action steps to take and setting a time frame to them.

For example

I will save $10000 by Christmas 2020 by taking on a part time job.

I will lose 20 pounds in the next 6 months by giving up junk food and being physically active for 45 minutes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.

Follow effective actions with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action.

Embrace Today’s Technology

It’s important to connect with your vision board as often as you can. Here are a few techy ways to do that:

  • Take a photograph of your vision board and set it as your phone wallpaper.
  • Print the photograph out to keep it on your desk at work.

note: I actually put made my workplace password as one of my most desired goals. Guess what? It worked. I also had a picture of the car I wanted sitting next to my laptop for several months (i’m not the neatest person) and well, you know how that turned out, right? My brand new paid for Toyota 4runner is sitting in the driveway. I promise, this WORKS!

This means that you can always ‘connect’ with your vision board no matter where you are. Obviously, this increases the chance of all your goals coming to fruition.  Be creative with how you put visuals into your life to reinforce the formal ones you commit to your vision board. While they’re not needed, they sure do help to keep you focused and encouraged.

Conclusion

If you’re still doubtful about creating a vision board, this quote may change your mind:

Write your dreams in a journal, note book, card or on a cork. When you pen down your dreams, an inner strength and divine power is activated for you to work towards the fulfillment of your dreams.

Lailah Gifty Akita

So there you have it. All the essential steps to take to change your life totally if you feel that you are stuck and want more out of life.
