Most people have a hard time seeing themselves as successful. They don’t see the possibilities for their future, so they never reach their full potential.

You can change your life if you’re willing to put in the effort and take action on your goals. But it’s not easy to get started when you feel stuck or overwhelmed by all that needs to be done.

Vision boards are one of the most powerful tools out there because they allow you to visualize what success looks like before you ever achieve it. Financial vision boards (or money vision boards) are all that, but we focus on your financial goals, dreams, and aspirations. We create a vision for success.

By creating a vision board, you’ll be able to see exactly how far along your path is and whether or not you’re moving towards where want to go next with your life.

Vision boards will help keep everything in perspective so that nothing feels impossible anymore!

What Is A Vision Board?

One of the most powerful tools that you can use to get ahead in life is a vision board. A vision board is a visual representation of what your future looks like, and it’s meant to serve as motivation for taking action on achieving your goals. It will allow you to see all the possibilities before you so that nothing ever feels impossible.

A financial dream board is just one type of vision board that many people find useful for setting big goals and working towards them effectively. We’ll show you how to create a money-filled visualization for your financial goals!

A vision board is a representation of your hopes and dreams for the future. It’s like having an inspiration center on your wall, giving you something to work toward as opposed to just reading letters about it.

With no other tools than pictures and phrases, this visual access allows people with any level of literacy skills or proficiency in English to find their way towards achieving what they want out of life–without even knowing how!

What Is A Financial Vision?

A money vision board is just like a regular vision board, but instead of pictures of your desired life, you have images that represent the financial goals and why they are important to achieve. It’s an easy way for people who don’t know what their dreams are or can’t reach them in other ways to get motivated about reaching those personal finance milestones!

How To Create Your Vision of Success Money Vision Board

Step 1: Start Clipping or Printing Pictures

Grab some magazines and start clipping pictures of what represents your vision goals and dreams. The pictures are representations not necessarily exact. As long as you know what you want, the picture will hold a place in your mind. New Home? cut out that magazine pic (real estate brochures are great too). Travel on your list? A beautiful beach, cruise ship, mountaintop view, anything goes, this is your vision, no one else’s.

Cut out or print pictures that represent your short term, mid term and long term goals.

Step 2: Motivational Phrases, Quotes, and Words

You’ll want to include money motivating phrases, words, quotes and even $$ that help define your goals. Using these also helps further encourage your goals to thrive. By having a verbal expression you can also say the words to yourself when you need that push or even as a pat on the back for meeting goals “Crushing It” “Like A Boss”.

Some Great Quotes for Financial Motivation Are:

“The goal isn’t more money. The goal is living life on your terms.”

Chris Brogan

“My definition of financial freedom is simple: it is the ability to live the lifestyle you desire without having to work or rely on anyone else for money.”

T. Harv Eker

“More important than the how we achieve financial freedom, is the why. Find your reasons why you want to be free and wealthy.”

Robert Kiyosaki

“Time is a currency you can only spend once, so be careful how you spend it.

Harmon Okinyo

“You either master money, or, on some level, money masters you.”

Tony Robbins

“It’s not about being the best, it’s about being better than you were yesterday”

von Gordon Seipold

“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.”

John F. Kennedy

“You can start late, look different, be uncertain, and still succeed.”

Misty Copeland

5 Feel Good Reasons to Create a Family Vision Board

Words and Short Phrases Help Keep You Inspired, Becoming Your Mantra

  • Like A Boss
  • Crushing It
  • Achieve
  • Courage
  • Dare
  • Imagine

Step 3: Tie it all together.

Decorate the poster board in a way that suits you and your vision! There is no right or wrong way to do this so follow how you feel and make it your own! You’ll notice that for this particular vision board, I had somewhat of a common theme of financial freedom and independence, but I tied it together with other goals like fitness, self-love, and travel. This is absolutely where you can get creative and tap into the things you really want to envision yourself doing this year!

Step 4: Pick a prime spot!

Find a spot to display your vision board where you’ll get to see it a lot. This is a great way to ensure that you are reminded of those goals continuously. Seeing a visual reminder can encourage you to meet your goals faster and more consistently – set yourself up for success!

The vision board I’m working on now is an old frame I inherited and was destined for the trash bin.  It’s big, ornate and the picture is well, ugly.. but it has history and I have a terrible time tossing history.  I’m sticking/ taping pics right over the glass in the frame and it sits in a corner across from where I spend hours a day, right here with you on my laptop!  I’m going to do a mini version in a notebook, put on the back cover inside, and have it open up on my desk at my day job to help me focus on goals even more.

You can get as fancy or as simple as you want.   The point is to just do it. You can revise, change your goals, add more. These are your goals, you do you and make what works for you!

Conclusion

If you want to make your financial dreams come true, it’s time to start visualizing them. Financial vision boards are an easy way to put the law of attraction into action by combining visualization and goal setting. You can create a board with pictures or drawings that represent what you would like for yourself in life financially, such as owning a house, having enough money for retirement, etc. The more detail you include on your board about your goals and how they will be achieved, the better off you’ll be!

We all want our money to work for us, not the other way around. This is where financial vision boards come in handy! By creating a visual representation of what you want your finances to look like on a certain date or by setting goals and timelines to achieve them, you can make those desires happen faster than ever before. The process doesn’t have to be complicated; if it feels good and makes sense for your life then do it!
