3 ingredient peanut butter cookies that’ll have you wishing you found this recipe years ago. I promise, these are going the be the easiest and best 3 ingredient cookies you’ll ever bake and taste. I feel like I hit the jackpot with these. My husband’s favorte cookie is the peanut butter cookie. Whenever I can find a recipe that’s quick, easy, affordable AND tastes great, it gets tagged in the recipe book for ‘do it again’ please. This is another of our five star recipes, so you know it’s great.
Aside from home snacks, These make great cookies for the cookie swap, bake sales, food gifts, family gatherings, birthday parties, office parties. You get the idea, cookies are the best for pretty much any occasion. My favorite time being ‘just because’.

Best 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
- 1 egg
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 egg all together.
roll into 1″ balls and place on cookie sheet. press down gently with fork in a criss cross pattern. sprinkle with remaining 1 tbsp sugar.
bake for approximately 12minutes until edges are golden.
remove and let cool.
store in air tight container or freeze (flat) up to a month.
Variations would add extra ingredients. However, you could press with thumb making indent. Drop a small amount of grape, strawberry or rasberry jelly in before baking. Voila Peanut Butter and Jelly cookies! The all time favorite here is a thumbprint then when just out of the oven, place a hershey’s kiss in warm cookie, let cool. Chocolate will melt slightly holding it in place with cookie. ‘Peanut Butter Kisses’. Did you score on clearance candy from Halloween or Thanksgiving? If you grabbed a bag of Hershey kisses on clearance I sure hope you tucked a bag aside.
